Join us on Wednesday 22nd July at Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum in Valletta, between 7:00pm and 8:00pm , to re-live the only seaborne attack ever launched against the Maltese Islands, which occurred on the 26th of July 1941. On that fateful day, the Decima Flottiglia MAS of the Italian Navy staged a daring attempt to destroy convoy units in the Grand Harbour, forming part of Operation Substance. The gallant defence by the Maltese soldiers manning Fort St Elmo and other coastal fortifications saved the day! Tickets are available online HERE and at all Heritage Malta museums and sites. Attendees are requested to wear comfortable shoes. Meeting Point: Fort St Elmo reception.
